I don't have to be sitting here typing this right now. But I want to be here. Why? I want to help you right now, today. Why? I want you to feel soul happiness flow through your mind, body, and soulβ
Okay, you've got me! Maybe there is a selfish angle here for me. I want to see a happier world. I am 50 years old and I have seen enough governments mishandle how we should run society so it is happily governed, enough border disputes, and enough wars in my short time on this earth. I want to see a happier world, and I know you want that too. And that dream surely has to start with you.
If I can at least make you feel happy, that is 1 down and about THIS MANY to go.

The Darkness
What do I mean by "The Darkness"? Am I getting all "weird" on you? No. I literally mean how do you think each moment, like right now. Are you feeling stressed, depressed, or both? Maybe you feel worried, and or sad, or all of them. Or a mixture. That state of mind is, for this example, what I mean by "The Darkness".
You will be stunned at how easy it is, you could say it's the default state, for the human-animal to go to each moment.
For example, have you heard the news today? How did you feel about a certain story? Did you start arguing with yourself, or moaning, or mentioning it to someone else expecting them to add to the feelings of being annoyed?
Have you been annoyed about something to do with your car or the price of things?
Do you worry about your family's health? Perhaps some are getting older, and you worry they may not be around for much longer and you cannot bear it, you love them so much.
For the sake of showing you what living in the darkness feels like, let's make up a list. I want you to think of each listed item as a blanket thrown over you. One that stops you from seeing the light. They are, of course, thoughts that many people live under each moment:
π΄ I wish my partner was more loving
π΄ I am not sure I will be able to pay the bills this month
π΄ I hate going to the dentist
π΄ Why can't I find my soulmate
π΄ I have dropped the toast on the floor again, butter-side down
π΄ I am fed up with the weather being rainy
π΄ I haven't been on a holiday for ages
I will stop the list here. But can you see how each listed item, like a blanket being thrown over you, makes you feel heavier, makes you feel like you are living in the dark?
Have you ever read the book "The Land of Far Beyond" by Enid Blyton? Without spoiling the story, it is about the heavy burdens the characters carry in their hearts from behaving so badly. Well, guess whatβ the story is true. It is. In this case I am not talking about the heaviness of being bad (that's another story for another post), I am talking about the heavy burden that the wrong thoughts have on your wellbeing.
You have just seen how unawakened people live their lives in their minds. Well, the great news is you are about to be shown how to awaken! How to throw those blankets of darkness off and live in the light.
The Light
Let's cut to the chase. I want you to live in the light. This is a state of mind that lifts you up all of the time. One that makes you feel happy and literally LIGHTer, both mentally and physically!
We have discussed living in the darkness, and you get the analogy of the blankets, I hope! Well, I would be lying a little if I said that sometimes those thoughts will enter your mind, even once you are awakened. You may still feel a blanket has been thrown over you. That is normal. However, it doesn't have to be for long. You can become extremely enlightened to the point where you are so aware and alert of what living in the darkness is, that you rapidly pull off those blankets to see the light as quickly as you can. How? You can be so quick at it that the dark thought is immediately translated into light. Let me show you how.
Remember that list? Great, let's bring it back again, and let me show you how you can lighten your burden and brighten your daily outlook. This is how someone who is awakened and aware will look at these same thoughts π:
π I am excited that I may have to change jobs, I am going to find a better one!
π΄ I wish my partner was more loving
π My partner needs cheering up, I will ask them what I can do to help them.
π΄ I am not sure I will be able to pay the bills this month
π If I cannot pay the bills I will enjoy finding ways to cut costs and I will thrive and look back on these times with even more zest and appreciation of life!
π΄ I hate going to the dentist
π I am so lucky to be able to go to a dentist in 2024, imagine what it was like when the dentists used pliers to pull bad teeth!
π΄ Why can't I find my soulmate
π I am so excited to find my soulmate, I know it is true, the longer you wait the better it feels when you meet them, and until then I am going to love my own company and spoil myself.

π Haha it's true the buttered side always lands on the floor first, I'll make another and enjoy it even more for the effort I have put in.
π΄ I am fed up with the weather being rainy
π I love the rain, I love how it makes everything grow, and it makes me appreciate sunny days even more!
π΄ I haven't been on a holiday for ages
π I am going to go to bed early tonight to watch a YouTube trip around the world, and imagine I am on holiday, I think I will soak my feet in hot water first to feel pampered.
