Who's CJB TODAY! and what has SOUNDS got to do with it?
As an individual —
I (CJB) am a caring, curious, creative soul who loves everything today.
Importantly, I try to help others (like you) feel that way too. Which leads me on to the "TODAY!" part.
It's a reality that you will only "ever" have today to enjoy yourself. Okay some get more todays than others but you know what I mean.
"TODAY!" is a wake up call to live life through your soul and feel soul happiness in your own way, no preaching unless you want it?
It's not preaching (I don't think) but I will use EVERYTHING in my creative arsenal, from SOUNDS (be patient and keep reading) — music, poetry, and even some annoyingly placed rhyming words at the end of sentences, usually followed by some well placed dad jokes.
I will dig into as much quirkiness as I can muster if it helps you grow through life’s thickets until you see some glorious light! And yes, ideally — TODAY!
Why do I bother —
Because honestly, I find it hard to keep going each day at times. I'm certainly not a depressive. I am not suicidal although get strong urges to connect with those who have passed and are living the afterlife of Riley!
I just... well, you'll have to read my book to get the nitty gritty on this can of worms I just opened!
The years I spent writing it almost disabled me due to my determination to get its message to you and those who I can see need it.
It's called THE SOUL ACTS: GROW SOUL HAPPINESS TODAY! — it's actually more of an innovative soul-gardening manual that shapes my other songwriting dream CJB SOUNDS — producing a new music genre I've called "Alternative Soul".
And there you have the final piece of the naming puzzle. "SOUNDS" or rather "CJB SOUNDS" is an example of me loving everything today through words and music. I absolutely love writing soulful poems—lyrics and making music. I explain more on that process in my about page. Yep, that's boring too! (See what I mean about dad jokes!)
As a community vibe —
Besides being my name "CJB" (if you close your eyes and imagine) represents all of us—you, everything that's connected by divine love....
Oh no! Please don't run away now because I mentioned those two words. I promise not to bring you into my cult just yet (that was a joke!).
