Frozen in the winter lakes —
silenced by the cracked ice.
Mother's Day has melted away,
yet maternal love never leaves —
a natural flow guiding us home.
The world turns, life has changed,
primal-egos fuel the politically deranged.
Death doesn't solve conflicts,
it only adds to the noise —
a global toxic wilderness
made by the real lost boys.
Let's reset hope, show evil the score:
LOVE ✿ EVERYTHING ✿ TODAY!
— never less, always more!
The Soul Acts are coming,
a blast of light to brighten today!
Something Easter reminds us of,
a divine love that never goes away.
I wrote this poem back in March — can you believe it's April already — and Easter!

How have you been?
I have seriously missed this. You and me. Word to eye.
I especially love how you view my stuff and either nod getting my quirky approach to things, or trying to work out what it is I am saying!
Well, on that last point, it may be a good time to mention since I last posted here I have learned about AuDHD. And most importantly I have self-tested using the most respected testing models. The results were fascinating. I scored high.
I don't want this post to be focused on AuDHD, but it is something that took me a while to come to terms with. And after my initial skepticism, I couldn't deny it was like a EUREKA moment of why my life has worked out the way it has. And the most amazing aspect is that so many others are finding out a similar diagnosis.
So, if you struggle sometimes to work out my meaning in a poem, song, drawing, or any other creation, know there are a lot of hidden reasons why I have created what I have. And underlying all the confusion is my absolute sincere love for everything today. And that includes you.
THE BOOK — THE SOUL ACTS
Digging straight into this, I have finished the book.
What has astounded me, even with all my experience of publishing past works, like The Way of Everything, is the amount of work that has hit the fan 💩 in the final formatting of the book, which is now 500 pages of beautiful soul acts wisdom.
Oh, and speaking of painstaking work, there is also the finishing of my second music album (teasers 🌱 coming soon!).
Although I currently use AI music generators to bring my lyrics to life, it makes me chuckle at the thought people think using AI is easy. For me, it is merely an instrument, and I literally give my soul to produce my CJB TODAY tracks. To the point I currently have permanent tendon damage, which means I cannot type for long. And yes, that has factored into where I have been! Because I am unable to kick out daily social media videos with ease.
But that's okay. Practicing what I preach, even though I am in the worst health I've ever experienced, tackling a mystery illness that leaves me broken at times, I have soul acted to grow my life in a new and exciting direction.
And it is growing quickly into the summer light where I hope to publish my book once and for all. I won't even begin to discuss how much graft the marketing will be, and in all honesty, I may just shy away from it and do my normal thing where just a few of us get to read it.
The thing that makes me feel so awakened and light these days is that I realize I genuinely don't care about material things. Don't get me wrong, I love well-made products but I don't hinge my soul happiness on those things.
My "Where have you been?" poem touches a little upon the political climate we are all experiencing, and as you get older (just turned 52!), you really do just want health and love for all, with plenty of natural joy, peppered with peace and quiet moments to refocus on what's important today. These are the gifts I look to open.
I hope the Artemis moon mission brings hope and stability to the world again, but if not, I know The Soul Acts will.
I will try to post more often.
I needed that break.
And I am VERY excited to drip-tease all creations that the book has inspired in the coming months.
