Where Does True Power Exist

We spend our lives chasing the answers in all the wrong places. We look for power in money, in a job title, or in the ticking gold watch.

True Power Unites

🌱 Seeded by CJB today

What is true power?
Where does it exist?

Not in the chase of money,
nor the ticking gold watch,
that holds a rich man’s eyes.

On a street in Mumbai
a boy kneels yet stands tall,
wisps of dust caressing his skin,
palms open awaiting life.

A rich man passes—
polished shoes, polished ego—
but the boy’s smile
unpolishes him.
He looks ahead to a parked car.

Then a woman in a sari stops.
No change. No purse.
No pity.
Only a look that holds his,
with an act of asking—
How can I help you today?

And in that instant
power changes hands,
or rather, unites:
soul to soul,
as natural as breath.

Birds calm the sky.
The sun leans nearer.
Even time listens,
as if it heard
power just spoke.

The True Power of a Soul Act

“What is true power? Where does it exist?”

We spend our lives chasing the answers in all the wrong places. We look for power in money, in a job title, or in the ticking gold watch. We believe that to be powerful is to be in control—to have an ego so polished that it can blind others to our fear. But as "True Power Unites" shows, that kind of power is just a fragile illusion.

Look closer at the boy on the street in Mumbai. He has nothing. Yet his simple, open smile unpolishes the rich man’s ego. The boy’s power isn’t in what he has, but in who he is—honest, grounded, and present. This is a raw truth that the ego, with its polished shoes, can never understand.

But the most profound moment of the poem isn't in what is given. It’s in a woman's act of seeing. She offers no money, no pity. She simply looks into his eyes and offers a single, powerful act: she asks, “How can I help you today?”

This is a Soul Act in its purest form.

It is an act of seeing another human being, soul to soul. The power isn’t in the money she could give, but in the moment of authentic connection she creates. It is an act that doesn’t demand a reward. It is a moment where "power changes hands, or rather, unites."

And that is the core of it all. True power isn't about what you have, but about how you connect. It isn’t about being in charge; it’s about being present. It’s about taking those everyday moments—like walking past someone on a street—and choosing to act with love.

This is the earthy path to authentic soul happiness. It’s a moment of your MIND choosing to see, your BODY stopping to be present, and your SOUL uniting with another. When you perform that simple act, you become the force that calms the sky and makes even time listen.

Because you are no longer a "trauma survivor" of the human-animal brain. You are a "trauma thriver" who understands the boundless wisdom of the soul.

So today, ask yourself: Where can you go beyond the polished surface? Where can you find a moment to stop and truly see another? You don’t need a purse or a plan. All you need is a willing heart.

In that simple, loving act, you will discover that power just spoke.
