To Wander
Oh —
to wander.
To set your soul free.
To kick the ground —
happily.
(using sound to heal)
every bone.
ACHE
SHAKE
no pain.
Time to —
AWAKE.
Let nature
do its thing.
Listen to the birds.
The river.
THIS
is
EVERYTHING!

My notes on this creation:
It's dawning on me more and more that unless I tell you how I create what I do, you may think it is the ONE-CLICK AI stuff. It is not.
I absolutely love using AI as a tool to create in ways that were never possible. The one-click aspect is literally only that. My creations are never just one click then share with you.
Although no AI was used in this creation I just wanted to get that off my chest. I love AI but also want the human artist to put their heart and soul into any published work. It should never be just one click.
This video was again spontaneous. Unplanned. In fact it was pissing it down with rain and I didn't expect to be filming anything today.
And that is why I LOVE TODAY so much, you can never predict it!
Anyhow... I digress, let me get on with sharing what I did to get this to you as it stands.
THE CREATIVE PROCESS:
🤳 I filmed this with my OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite. Front camera 16MP. Rear 108MP+2MP+2MP 🤓👍
Not sure what microphone it has but it is "okay".
I did not use any lapel mic just pressed record on the video function and spoke.
🗣️ I MADE ALL OF THE WORDS UP ON THE SPOT! And yes that is why it sounds so odd. I like to leave things as they are, so they remain totally authentic.
🎞️ However, after uploading the video to an editing tool which placed the rainbow 🌈 lens effect to make the film look more soulful, the audio was messed up. The volume level was far too low to hear.
🎧 And so I had to use a trick of separating the audio. The way I did it was to use an MP4 on download. Then I converted it into an MP3 track.
Then I had to go to Audacity - an open source (FREE) editor - to work on making a very bad quality recording voice acceptable for the video narration. After downloading that......several times because I do not have the correct speakers and headphones to really understand how it all sounds---
---I then used Canva (I L❤️VE YOU CANVA!!!) to edit it, sometimes I use Clipchamp.
🎼 I then REMEMBERED I had created an AI instrumental song the other week which would fit perfectly to this narration!
So I went to suno.com and downloaded that song and added it to the track. Aligning the music with the narration as much as I could.
Note, for the song, weirdly I had based it on a cover of my own voice. This is a long story but mentioning it so you realize there is still a lot of skill and effort involved in getting a decent track out of AI song generation. It is not as simple as some believe! Understanding how and where to place song tags is also another thing I am trying to master to help add as much human input as possible into any music I create with AI.
📽️ Finally I finished the video in Canva by adding the words to the poem so they showed up at the exact times I spoke them.
Add after using many other little techniques I have come to polish things with, you have the final video that I have shared above, and on social media.
🥰 Oh and by the way! This was what I consider a VERY QUICK creation. All in all it has taken me over 2 hours (maybe 4 gulp).
And in between doing this I have fetched my 96 year old dad who I care for, a hot water bottle, I have booked in his heart clinic with the hospital, let the dog out, oh dressed a wound my dad had on his leg, washed his feet, put cream on them...... prepared breakfast and washed up...... and all that jazz 🎷🙃
THE END
I am off now to make lunch! I hope the above made sense and gives you a little more info on what it takes to make one of these videos. I'm sure I have missed out a few things but you have enough of an idea. If not, please leave me some comments (and some likes to boost both our energy levels) by clicking the below buttons.
Oh and I forgot, I am also being forced to work with one hand because my RSI is locking up my right hand (the one I always use). So one day, I really hope to create something without any obstacles. Until then though, I will LOVE EVERYTHING TODAY!.... and I suggest you do the same, no matter what hardships you face. Do not put off loving things that need your love today, and that includes you too!
Love you! 💖
