Don't let the speaker's voice—

Who is this speaker?
It echoes inside.
Not a loving one.
You know! The speaker—
Always trying to hide.
When you look in the mirror,
It speaks its reflective beguile,
Thoughts and depression—
Both stagnate for a while.
You start to believe—the things it says:
You are ugly—old—stuck in your ways!
Thankfully—
The speaker's a fool!
The speaker's a fool!
Don't let the speaker's voice—
Dominate and rule.
You are NOT the voice,
You ARE the soul within.
Feel don't listen—
Soul happiness ain't a sin!
You're a voice of love,
The one social media hates!
An algorithm’s nightmare,
Resolving all painful states.
You are so MUCH more,
Than the speaker inside!

It was a total experiment, as I'm trying out using my own voice in different ways. I can't sing – never been taught, haven't got a clue how. So I just try my own thing. And yes, I know it's terrible! But I absolutely love it.
I record my voice on my phone speaker, then upload it to Audacity. From there, I play around, trying to get it to sound half-decent. There are definitely a lot of glitches in the sound on this one, but I actually think it adds to the madness!
The serious point is the positive and negative choice you need to make at every point today. One leads to feeling bad, the other leads you to soul happiness. You know which I choose. What about you?
