Well it's happened!

No, not the book! Almost there, see this post for more.

But it's funny you should mention the book delay!

Because this Christmas song is an example of what can grow from life's manure.

Because I am still polishing The Soul Acts before it's published that also means I cannot release the related new album by my alter ego CJB SOUNDS.

And honestly, I felt a bit down because you have no idea how much I LOVE MAKING MUSIC! It gives me strength and I from what others have said it helps them through their days too.

Then as I put up the Christmas tree I was thinking: CHRISTMAS SONG! 🎄

And later that evening my soul spoke to me just before bed. It's cheeky like that! Especially as every night this month I have been absolutely exhausted. The last thing I feel like doing is turning on my computer!

But last night my soul awareness knocked at my heart, and my soul instinct was feeling it in my gut. No, nothing bad—a liberating feeling like eating sparkling sherbet! Or is it space dust? Whatever, it's a great feeling!!

I was being urged to create a Christmas song so strongly I did exactly that. No waiting. I just bloody did it (sorry, that's my Michael Caine impression, I do a bloody lot of those). The words just poured out of me. No issues. It was as if it was meant to be. Correction! It was meant to be!!

What's awesome is, I heard a tune that this song had to be in. So I hummed it into my AI band and let the magic happen. I love the fact I can add so much human input into the music process now. My hum literally gave this song life by way of it being musically covered.

So, what you are listening to are my lyrics. My tune. My song choice. My production. And so much more! You have no idea what I go through to get these songs out. It's all beautifully soulful!

Oh and the above YouTube video got created today after a lot of juggling with the care of my dad and Bella's attention seeking (that's my dog).

I really should be doing what every other musical artist does. I should be sticking to that PR and Marketing plan, right? Wrong.

Remember, I'm CJB, sincere and soulful. Who knows, maybe one day a talent agent will bump their head, stumble across me, and I'll have to get better at this launch stuff.
