No fighting when LOVE's writing!

SHOCK! HORROR!
I know, right!!

So why did I do that?

Well, this may help explain it.

I listened to a Gary Vee podcast yesterday where he said something like:

When I started social media, I never knew what would be successful. I just posted — and learned by being involved. I got better by posting.

Okay, he didn’t say those exact words (sorry, Gary), but that was the heart of what he meant.

When I started writing The Soul Acts, I was in a completely different place than where I am now. The entire journey has transformed me in ways I could never have known if I hadn’t acted.

And that’s exactly what Gary was pointing to.

If you want something better, you have to act — without fear of what others will think.

Having been a website developer for years, as well as a high-level project consultant (I hate titles, but I’ll use the simplest ones for context), I was always plagued by the need to be risk-averse and over-cautious with launches.

Well, this blog is my Avant-garde “CREATIVE JOURNEY” to get the SOUL HAPPINESS MOVEMENT growing — TODAY!

Like The Soul Acts, it has evolved massively in 2025 because I made it public so early. Doing that forced me to focus on the core loving message and observe how visitors reacted. It allowed me to tweak, adjust, prune, and re-seed…

And it has been a weird FIGHT at times. Mainly with the algorithms which do not like words like love and soul...

…Oh and don't forget there was even a soul happiness revolution at one point!

So that’s why the site is public — but not yet launched.

The official launch will coincide with the book and the new CJB SOUNDS album. I’m aiming for all launches around Valentine’s Day 2026… but don’t hold me to it because I am finding it hard to know how much more care my dad needs and being honest, how much more selfcare I need as my body starts to wave white flags when I burn the candle at both ends.

Thankfully though, the book has gone through some unexpected pruning and soul changing growth in this final push.

Refinements I would never have made if it had been rushed out early to suit expectations instead of truth.

Now — I mentioned “FIGHT” earlier.

And this blog seed is called: No fighting when LOVE's writing!

That wasn’t accidental.

Today’s poetry prompt word for the vss365 community is FIGHT.

So without further ado — and because this is really an end-of-year thank-you to you for showing up with heart, courage, and love — I want to leave you with a poem (the video is the spoken word version).

It's a poem that carries us into 2026 with the right kind of fighting spirit.

LOVE'S WRITING!

Let’s not start by making you feel sickly sweet.
I’m not preaching — in fact, Love’s writing,
so I’m not technically here.

It’s time to wish you a Merry Christmas
and a Happy New Year.

In 2025, we learned to grow stronger, come what may.
Tough things happened.
Yet one message kept returning:

LOVE ✿ EVERYTHING ✿ TODAY!

But before Love makes its final, crying call,
please take a moment to hug yourself —
to stop any heartbreak still falling.

Love needs you to know that 2026 will be your year.

How can it possibly know that?

Because no matter what — Love is always here.

Even if something precious leaves to go and play.
Even if something hurts so deeply you need to hide away.

Love will be waiting with exactly what you need.
Because Love only ever grows
from Love’s own seed.

Thank you for your soulfulness — it’s noticed when you post.
Don’t tell the other CJB followers,
but he secretly loves you the most.

Now bugger off and enjoy the holiday season.
And if it isn’t joyful — don’t analyze the reason.

Just come back to this place.
Yes — literally, come back here.

Because this is where more Love will be waiting…
perhaps with a mince pie, unopened crackers —
and a soul warming ginger beer.
