Something is watching you from afar.
You feel its presence in the fading sky.
It doesn’t have eyes—it senses.
It senses your bare foot on a pine cone.
It feels your nostrils flare, tasting the forest floor.
It hears the pull of wilderness around you.
Your pinprick form is invisible to the trees,
yet the watcher finds you,
alone.
Its amber glow lights a path through the undergrowth.
Broken sunlight reaches, fades, then reappears.
You hear the creatures of the forest now—
they too are aware of your plight.
You walk slowly, transfixed by freedom.
You hear your heart
beating through your open mouth.
The way ahead is clearing.
Step by step,
leaves and twigs crackle in applause.
You reach the base of Mother Nature’s body—
a green hill, pert like a breast,
a single tree at its center
awaits your climb.
The crow announces your arrival.
The wind brushes you into place.
Together, you and the tree become one.
You stare into the world.
A liminal glow elevates your soul
like a phoenix breathing sun.
Your solstice celebration
has only just begun.
These will be quick because believe it or not I almost break myself making these videos. It take so much soul power. I love it, but I am literally breaking myself. My right arm is strapped up due to some weird RSI. Basically my nerves are on fire, and my hand locks the more I type.
So most of my latest creations are all done with my left hand. It is annoying, not going to lie!
Anyhow, the inspiration behind this is of course today being the Summer Solstice, basically the most hours of sunlight per day, in the year.
It is a very beautiful time of year. Here in Wales, living amongst the trees and wildlife, I can tell that Mother Nature is smiling and happy.
In the background right now a few birds are still singing happily! That's soul happiness for you!!
I also have included today's prompt which massively shaped this too, the word is "#LIMINAL" (thanks again Host Anagha!).
I hope this creation did it justice.
Oh and another great thing is this song, besides using my lyrics, was also a cover of a vocal I recorded. It was just me humming but I had this tune in my head and AI only went and bloody gave me exactly the vision I had in my mind!
Okay back up here... AI gave me it eventually, painful and expensive hours of me trying different songs and finally I came up with this. I am now really trying to put the "CJB TODAY" earthy stamp on my creations. AI is everywhere, I know it, you know it, but I am consciously making a difference to what I create by adding as much of ME-CJB into everything I do, I hope this shows.
Anyhow, it is getting late! My dad is watching the football and I am rushing this to see him before bed. So take care.
