Just finished the BIG 2nd Book EDIT
A quick update on THE SOUL ACTS book.
If you’ve ever written a book, you’ll know—it’s hard work.
Well, today I finished a major second edit.
What does that actually mean?
Hopefully, it means that now I just need to read through it all again and check that it flows—and ties together into one cohesive, alive, soul-hitting book.
That’s the aim!
And this is where book creation and editing (in my humble opinion) gets truly challenging.
Having written a smaller book before—my Tao Te Ching remix The Way of Everything—I know firsthand how much painstaking graft it takes to get a book feeling “done.” That one took me a couple of years.
You can suddenly spot a word that needs changing…
Which links to another word…
Then a paragraph…
And before you know it—you’re knee-deep in a snowball rewrite.
But today—I’m feeling good.
I’m feeling VERY EXCITED.
This may sound weird, but—like The Way of Everything—this new book really does help me every single day.
No BS.
Okay maybe some real-life brown stuff but the type that makes the roses grow ten times bigger!
The Soul Acts is my legacy. I can’t deny it.
I have no idea how the world will react.
There may be no reaction at all.
And you know what? I’m fine with that.
Because for me—it’s priceless. And I’ve learned I can’t control the world—something The Soul Acts gently unravels.
I’ve used its wisdom these past few months to transform some very dark situations into the best times of my life.
It’s that good.
So yeah, I really am VERY EXCITED.
I know it can save lives.
Improve them.
Change them.
And help you find that cliché light—right when things feel darkest.
Only time will tell.
Until then, I’ll just live by the mantra that’s carried me through:
LOVING > EVERYTHING > TODAY!
I cannot wait for you to read the book—so that, finally, you'll have a reference point for all these seemingly happy-clappy words I use.
Because once you read it, I think you’ll feel what I feel—that these words are earthy, real, and rooted in something far deeper than surface positivity. They’re meant to make you feel better than okay—TODAY.
Right... I’m going!
Okay—rushing this—but meaning this—love you!

PS. Why the monkey image? That would be telling!
