I didn’t set out to write this. Or to create a new song. Let alone [TWO INCREDIBLE VERSIONS](https://www.cjb.today/finding-the-word-when-grief-strikes/)!! But my soul did. I cried so much listening back to these versions because of the emotions they stirred. As a songwriter, I’m in love with AI. Yet I get attacked often because, apparently, AI music is “killing real musicians’ livelihoods.” The truth? The only thing that kills tends to come from human-animal thinking. Love doesn’t judge. Love doesn’t fear. You — your soul — are glued together with divine love. Once you feel that truth, you stop worrying about whether music is made by AI or a human because, heck, it’s either good music or it isn’t. Whether you prefer humans or computers is a personal choice. Me? I’m a songwriter who always longed to play an instrument, but never did — and now my hands wouldn’t let me if I tried. So, the next best thing is writing and creating music with this “MIRACLE” called AI. What matters is whether the lyrics and the music are *felt*. My mission with AI music is to make it soulful — to give it life with my songwriting. I believe my songs do that. And if you don’t, that’s fine too. I just absolutely love writing and making music. And hey, if any human musician ever wants to cover one of my songs — send me your demo! Just because I use AI doesn’t mean I wouldn’t prefer a human singing live on stage. That dream is still on my BIG DREAMS ONE DAY list. Oh, and to avoid confusion: there’s a difference between “[CJB SOUNDS](https://www.cjb.today/cjb-sounds/)” (my official artist name) and these non-official songs. As you know, I recently changed my musical name and buried it with my new album [*RIP.TODAY*](https://open.spotify.com/album/0kzEbnuNI4zcmckFYl0rqY?si=ylkEVWPDRCq48XF8beMotA&ref=cjb.today). But just like with this blog, I’ve got BIG PLANS! Right now, my main priority is finishing my book (yes, I should’ve been doing that today!). But once the book is published, I can’t wait to dive deeper into creating — especially more songs. This time, though, I’m doing things differently. My current idea is to let *you* decide which songs should become official and end up on platforms like Spotify. So here’s how it works: any song I share, I’ll be watching for the SOUL BUZZ it generates. The ones with the most LOVE will be shortlisted to go official. > So if you love a song please comment, share, like, dance, smile... you know the drill.
