love trickled down its slopes,  
back to square one,   
the start.  
  
Was I successful?  
Did I achieve?  
Is love a goal?  
Was I naive?  
  
In love I swim,  
from head to toe,  
I still love us,  
can't let go.  
  
You untangled our dreams,  
knotted them to hold,  
ran around our world,  
when did we grow old?  
  
Were you successful?  
Did you achieve?  
Is love your goal?  
Were you naive?  
  
And still I find you,  
by my side,  
we've had a child,  
parental pride.
