## Quietus Release:

> That silhouette?  
> That's my dad.  
> He's in pain,  
> Holding his arm,  
> again.  
>  
> That ache to leave,  
> it's beginning to grow,  
> into a quietus release,  
> where only love can flow.

> He's a man in a chair,  
> not a man in the moon.  
> He'll soon merge with stars,  
> beyond Elon's trillions,  
> and Trump's billions.  
> To a home we all are,  
> one that's never too far.

> Grown from an eternal love,  
> it heals broken hearts from above.  
> I glued all my prayers with it today:  
> Asking for Dad's life force to stay. 

### Where did this come from?

Today's prompt was the word [#quietus](https://x.com/hashtag/quietus?src=hashtag%5Fclick&ref=cjb.today).

I love sewing creative ideas together. I suppose it's like knitting. In the sense it calms you and makes you feel joy seeing the end result come together.

The components in this knitted pieced or did I say sewed? Anyhow, they were photo I took of my dad in his recliner chair. I caught him rubbing his arm ... again.

I then headed over to my creative tools and started knitting - stitching - editing!

I'm living through some very surreal times. And of course so is my dad. 

He's 97 and I am 52 – we've known each other a long time now. I have cared for him for over 6 years!

Life is never what you think. Love is always what you feel.

And today this creation made me genuinely feel I love ✿ everything ✿ today, especially my dad.
