I took a deep breath,  
my lungs filled with water.  
I thought of my life,  
my wife and my daughter.  
  
The world around me,  
it watched and waited.  
How did it come to this,  
it was not anticipated.  
  
I clutched my heart,  
struggled and climbed.  
I could see some light,  
some hope left to find.  
  
A hand reached down,  
pulled me up like a doll.  
I felt nothing but light,  
and love, filling my soul.  
  
In an instant I knew,  
to leave my ego behind.  
Nothing else mattered,  
except being kind.  
  
The power of love,  
changed a painful past.  
It's an awakening feeling,  
and I know it will last.  
  
If you feel overwhelmed,  
know it's just an illusion.  
Use your soul powers,  
to stop your confusion.
