Watching digital paper unfold  
The ego becomes brazenly bold  
  
Escaping it's lair, eyes stretch wide  
THE INTERVIEW... It's untied!  
  
Tangled nerves twist tighter  
Lonely, the acidic stomach roars  
Hungry nausea bites, anxiety soars  
  
Did I? Was it? Do I?  
Will I? I sigh...  
  
Worst case thoughts coat reality  
Muffled, another prisoner screams  
The ego is NEVER what it seems  
  
Did I? Was it? Do I?  
Will I? I cry...  
  
On time, the interview arrives   
It's the same moment as always  
The ego pounces, opens claws  
Thoughts writhe between mental jaws  
  
Did I? Was it? Do I?  
Will I? I lie...  
  
The soul steps in, the ego shrinks,  
Love starts the slaughter   
Gives it no quarter   
The soul grins  
As it pins  
  
I did! It was! I do!  
I will! Will you?

"I created this to highlight the fact that all of the pain and anxiety you feel comes from your ego. The soul is so wise and powerful such things cannot touch it. An interview is one example of how the ego tries to rule your mind with fear, in this poem/song the soul overcomes such human-animal issues"
