Life twists my body like a cactus  
Daily pricks checking I'm alive  
Red water within running wild  
Pumping through vein straits  
Linking body to soul  
  
Today I split open  
Pressure rushed in  
Bandages stained red  
A sunset on a past  
An amber hope rising  
  
The lesson?  
Unlock mental prison  
Imagination is the key  
Turn to the higher straits  
Leave the low to the cockroaches
