## Folklore of the Soul

The sky echoed thunder....  
And the world was born.  
  
Creatures crawled,  
Into an early dawn.  
  
Water flowed,  
And rivers ran.  
  
In the beginning,  
There was man.

Soon sun shined,  
The man felt whole.  
  
Nature was respected,  
Because of soul.  
  
Into the future,  
The world has changed....

Technology and screens,  
Makes man estranged.

But a light shines,  
So very strong.  
  
It knows happiness,  
And right from wrong.  
  
That light it shines,  
Within us all.  
  
Folklore knows,  
It is called the soul.
